Christmas in Argentina is celebrated quite differently than in the USA. Here it is celebrated the 24th at midnight. Everyone gets together to eat, then Papa Noel (santa) comes. For real, santa comes. Each year someone different in the family dressese up as Papa Noel and distributes all the gifts. I will get some pictures up later.
Last night somehow the electricity went out, but only in our house. some cable got cut or something, so from about 10 to 11:30 we were trying to make delved eggs in then dark. Luckily we got it back just in time to eat, and open presents!
After everythign is opened it is typical for friends to meet up. So at three thirty in the morning i left with my brother and the Stefi to go to my friends house. Alot of people were there, but alot of people were missing cause they traveled for the day.
I just want to say thank you to everyone for the warm wishes and gifts. Thanks mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, memere, aunt carolyn, and everyone else! This has been an amazing Christmas
I hope to be able to talk to my family and some friends later on skype.
