My uniform is in the process of being hemmed. So i wore the school gym pants today.
I was also in a skit today for class. Students here are like student at home, they try and find a way to get out of class. So the people in the play had to skip one class caue we needed to practice, then get dressed. and well pretty much it took almost the whole day because after the play there wasnt enough time to have class, so we jsut sat around and talked.
After school a bunch of students took the bus over to the college to here a chat. Mainly to convince students to go to that college. Public colleges are free. I wish the same was fore the USA. But part of the chat was about exchange student, and our whole group was laughing, because well i am an exchange student. The speaker said "you need to speak slowly to them, use clear words, and words that they can understand. Try not to speak in slang." Pretty much what i tell my friends every time they try and talk to me. She also added "that especially americans are not use to the kiss on the cheek, they shake hands. She said to not be offended if they dont kiss you, they probably just forgot." Pretty much everything she said was exactly correct, and i couldnt help but laughing cause i was going threw exactly what she was talking about.
Oh and the bus... My first time ever on a public bus. I have been on a school bus, and a charter bus but that is about it. The public bus goes very fast, and stops very fast and very randomly. Also the bus doesnt like to stop for long, so you get on and your foot is still hanging out and the bus takes off, even before you pay. Also people here have a different since of space. The whole personal bubble doesnt really apply.
Today was very cold, i hope it gets warm soon!!
