it is better to try, then ask

When trying new foods sometimes it is best not to ask what you are eating.

Today i had some of the best asado (steak)ever. Maybe it was the best because i havent had it in a while, or maybe becuase it was cooked on an open fire.
ALong with the steak i also tried new parts of the cow, that i have never had before.

Tripa- intestine.
If i would have known what it was, i would NEVER have eaten it. But being the guest, i had to try everything because i didnt want to be rude. To be honest it wasnt that bad. I auctually liked the flavor, the texture... not so much. The inside was kinda mushy, while there was a skin around the outside.

I dont remember the name of the second body part, but it is the glands in the neck of the cow.
This wasnt too bad either, Im not sure if i could eat it everyday but i didnt spit it out. The texture was very unique, it was almost like a verry verry tender beef, but also kind of like fat. I was able to bite threw it very esasily. It was the texture of fat, but it wasnt chewy like fat.

Im not sure if i gave the best discriptions, so you will jsut have to try for yourself : )
