Today my class to a field trip to the Fiat car plant that is located in Cordoba. It is the only plant located in Argentina, and they make the Fiat Sciena.
I did understand all of what the leader was saying, partially cause i was in the back, partially because she talked very rapidly, and partially because she had her back to us almost the whole time. Even though i didn't hear, i could still see. We got to walk threw almost the hole plant. We saw the process from start to finish. From the frame of the car to the test drive that is required for every car. The frames move along a production line in a large factory, a lot of work is done by machine, and alot by man. Im not sure of the percentage of each. We saw all the wires going in, bumpers being put on. We didnt get to see the paint process but we did get to see the before and after. The very last step is the test drive. Every car must go threw it, the car drive around in a large cement bowl of sorts. The car looks like it could tip over, the car also goes over a bridge and alot of speed bumps. At the end of the tour we were given goodie bags, with coke, a cookie, a hat, and some information in spanish.
All in all everything was very interesting and made for a great day
