I am living with a family and attending school here. I arrived July 18th and have been loving every minute of my stay here!
I can't belive that I have to leave so soon! I have been having the time of my life, trying new foods, going to new places, and experiencing a new life.
This blog as been set up for my family and friends so that they can see all the crazy adventures I have been having here

This is it
This is it. My adventure in Argentina is officially over. It is so weird. If feels like I have just waken up from a dream. When I was on the plane and when I fist landed it was as if I couldn't speak English anymore. Even now sometimes I stumble.
I had the most amazing time of my life. I fell in love with Cordoba Argentina and the people in it. I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped me in the process of becoming and exchange student, to those who supported me while I was there, and to everyone who has taken the time to read this blog.

LA
Arrived in LA at 6 am. It is now 9. I have been threw customs and immigration, now just waiting for the final flight back. It leaves at 11:30 and I will arrive at 2:35
When I went on vacation with my host family to Buenos Aires my i-pod was lost/stolen... So this has been a very long flight without music. The flight from Chile to Las Angeles (with a stop in Peru) is about 11 hours. I thought I would be nice and change seats with somebody so that they could all be together, I just didn't know that I chagned seats to sit infront of an 8 year old boy who liked to kick and play tic-tac-toe on the touch screen behind my seat.
Not much sleep. Oh well... I will be home soon!

Chile
Arrived in chile, had to buy coffe from dunkin donts to pay for it, but doesn’t even seem like it works. Moon is out already. Not a full moon, but still very big.
wow that was hard. Never thought it would be so hard to just walk. I am still shaking….
My host family went, along with my boyfriend, the student exchange director and about 30 friends. I was able to hold myself together until I started giving the last hugs and kisses to everyone. I made it threw all the girls, my family then my brother, and then I just lost it. I felt so much love in that moment that everyone came and I just couldn’t stop crying. I am excited to go home and see my family, but it is also very hard to leave.
I honeslty coldnt ask for more from this year. I met the most incrediable people. I had an amazing family, and some truly amazing friends. I know they are friends for life, and I we wont stop talking just because I am back in the states. Even writing this now is very hard.

Today is the day
It doesn't seem real yet, but here it is. May 14th. Just ten short months ago on June 18th I arrived in Argentina, and now its time to leave. I don't want to but I have to.
Last night I had a going away party at my house. Amazing. All my friends came over and jsut hung out and listened to music. The girls made me a huge flag! (pictures will come later....) A blue and white argentina flag with writing on it. They also made me a scrap book with pictures from this year and at the end everyone wrote me a little note. I told them I wasn't going to read it until the plane ride. Also I had little papers and some pens set out to write me notes. Everyone one left early because there was a futbol game this morning that the boys played in. I told them to win for me. 6-0 was the final score : )
I will miss it so much here. MY layovers aren't too long, but I will try and post throughout the day!
Just about to go to the airport. All my bags are packed, but they are oh so heavy!

lastsss
Last this last that, today was my last day of school.
I haven't been able to post in a couple days because the website "blogger" was under repair. Now I have so much to write about I don't even know where to begin.
Yesterday during gym all the girls took out cookies and cokes so that we could celebrate my last gym class with everyone! After gym yesterday I went to centro with ym boyfriend to finish getting gifts for everyone. I had just enough time to come home, shower and change before I left to go eat sushi with some friends.
I have had sushi before, but I remember not really liking it. I thought it would be something fun to do, because one of my friends here loves sushi! So four of us got together to eat some sushi. At first I was a little bit nervous, but it turns out I actually liked it. There was only one that I had to spit out. Once I got back I finished up some packing then slept.
Today was my last day of school. But a wonderful surprise!! We had a free hour and a friend helped me with my powerpoint with all my photos from this year, there are wayyyy to many to count. Then everyone surprised me with eating hamburgers for lunch!
Everyone had pitched in a couple pesos to buy hamburgers to cook. Then we watched a slide show my friend RAMI made then just hung out and took pictures.
Tonight there will be a party in my house, and tomorrow everyone is going to the airport. I leave at 4:55 and will arrive sunday at 2:30
